I sketched this up while I was hanging out at my girlfriend’s house. All in all I’m pleased. Clearly I was fussing over the boots a bit but it doesn’t bother me in the end.

First Post after a long break. I did these in a rush as part of a group show at the Space Gallery. I’m glad to know that all three were bought by the same person, I have a favorite but I won’t say which, it’s not fair to the other two.

I did this one while I was looking for a new gig. It was an art test the company asked me to for them. I didn’t end up taking the job, but the people there seemed very cool and I got to do this pretty cool character. To be honest though I liked it more as a line drawing.

Another post I did with that nervous energy. The sketch at the far left is actually my favorite, the rest feel a bit static to me.

This is actually one of my least favorite things that I have posted. I considered at first not showing it, but then I decided it would be healthy to become comfortable showing pieces that are not my favorite.

I did the sketch for this years ago. Until now I had never made a color version that I liked. I’m so glad I finally got one that I’m pleased with. I think I can finally let this one rest.

I think this one came from listening to a Bowie song and wondering, “What the heck is a Spider Man From Mars? ” I wasn’t really trying to capture the spirit of the song. The tune just provided the subject for my imagination.

My favorite part of this one is the skull in her hand. The leather was fun too, but it was better as a sketch.
