This one started as a doodle to try out some brushes and turned into one of my favorite pieces on the blog so far.

This one seems to be a favorite of a lot of people who I show it to. I have to admit that the color job was a bit of an experiment. I used a lot more Photoshop tricks than I usually do, which made me a little uncomfortable during the coloring process. Overall I’m very happy with the results.

This is kind of a lazy post. Sometimes all you can find the time to do are little nothing sketches. I do like some of these ideas very much, i might use them later in something else.

More fun sketches from the old job.

These are some character sketches that I did for a company i was working for. They didn’t end up in the final products but they too fun not to share.

Like the title says, 60 min sketch. This was a blast to do, it really makes you consider your brush strokes and value. I also found that it can help you speed up, by slowing down.

This is actually one of my least favorite things that I have posted. I considered at first not showing it, but then I decided it would be healthy to become comfortable showing pieces that are not my favorite.

It’s true, I do heart monsters. It’s always fun to draw some nasty creatures.
